VLSI Design

LECTURER:
Assoc. Prof. Ph. D. George Angelov, еmail: angelov@ecad.tu-sofia.bg

The main aim of the course is to give to the students knowledge on the classification and typical
properties of VLS Integrated Circuits and VLSI technologies. This will give them the possibility to
find the right and optimal way for solving of specific technical or technological problems.

The main parameters of VLS Integrated Circuits and VLSI technologies are described. The
submicron technologies for making of CMOS, BICMOS and Bipolar Integrated Circuits are
described. The limitations in the case of minimization of structure of Integrated Circuits are given.
