Automation of Engineering in Microelectronics

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the methods and approaches for automation of the basic Microelectronics engineers’ activities. Special attention is drawn to the design and test of integrated circuits and systems.

The following aspects are being studied: computer-aided design methods for design of integrated circuits and systems; specifics of analog and digital circuits design; functional and layout design; introduction to hardware description languages; test and diagnostics of faults; ASICs; design of technological processes and elements, automated control and management of Microelectronics production.
